MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS
Cold Facts is an A4 magazine that is usually digital. One issue per year is printed in hard copy, to coincide with the annual conference.

​Advertisement Material Specifications​

FILE FORMATS: Our preferred format is a high res pdf

SAFE ZONE: Please do not position text or images within 5mm of the edge of any ad
-
BLEED: All print edition ads require an extra 3mm bleed to be added on ALL four sides, with crop marks.

CMYK: All print edition ads must be supplied as CMYK (please ensure no RGB or spot colours/images within the ad)

RGB: Any digital edition ads must be supplied as RGB, ensure hyperlinks are live, no crop marks

RESOLUTION: All images within the ad must have a resolution of 300dpi

FONTS: All fonts must be embedded or converted to outlines/paths
-
LINKS: Please ensure your hyper links in the article are live.

Full page ad is 210mm wide x 297mm high with no text closer than 10mm to the edges

Horizontal banner is 210mm wide x 68mm high with no text closer than 10mm to the edges

Vertical banner is 68mm wide x 297mm high with no text closer than 10mm to the edges

Half page horizontal is 210mm wide x 130mm high with no text closer than 10mm to the edges

Editorial Specifications

Word limit for full page editorial is 600 words (less if you supply an image or diagram).

Word limit for feature articles is 1,000 to 1,200 words (less if you supply and image or diagram).

Please supply any images as high-resolution uncropped image files. If you do not supply an image, we reserve the right to source an image from a photo library to illustrate your page.

Please supply any chart as a graphic and as a data file, as we may need to redraw your chart to get it to fit within the article.

If you supply a company logo, please provide this in two versions (transparent PNG and vector EPS).

You will be emailed a proof to review prior to publication and will have two working days to provide your changes back prior to publication. If you miss the proofing deadline, your submission may be published as-is.
