Best Wishes for Christmas

On behalf of the Executive, I would like to wish everyone a fun filled and relaxed Christmas break.

Thankyou to everyone who has contributed to the Association during the year, particularly to those of you who came to Auckland and made the 75th Conference such a great event.  I have received lots of positive feedback from Members & Associates alike.

Next year we are hoping to go one better again with a home-based conference (well for me anyway) and a chance to show off the sights and sounds of the capital city.

In addition we have a number of other projects on the books.  In particular we are planning to work with EECA to develop a Best Practice Sustainable Energy Programme.  Watch out for this in the next newsletter.

Tranzqual have also indicated that they will be reviewing the transport and logisitics qualifications next year and this is an area that we need to be involved with.

And there will be the on-going matters relating to the various government departments that affect and frustrate your lives every day.

Don't forget - if you are having problems with bureacracy, it is sure that someone else will be having the same problem.  Get in touch with me or one of the Executive - we may be able to "encourage" some improvement.

So, STAY COOL and I'll be in touch again in the new year.
