Course Venue: Christchurch     Dates:   19th July - 21st July Course Code: POC_CH   RRP: $2200  +gst per person (price includes 3days of training & lunches, workbooks and standards)

Ammonia is a toxic gas. Refrigeration plant operators and anyone working around the plant should be aware of the potential hazards and the appropriate courses of action to be taken inan emergency. This three day course includes both a theoretical and practical component, with visits to a working industrial ammonia plant during that time.
Key topics:
·         Refrigeration systems
Compressors
Lubricants
Condensers, cooling towers and ancillary components
Refrigerant flow control and automatic control devices
Liquid overfeed systems
Ammonia awareness/safety
Service procedures and basic fault finding
Designed for:
·         Plant operators
Fitters and turners
Electricians
Boiler makers
Any contractor who has not worked with ammonia and other non refrigeration trained staff.
